Good graphic design is a process of thinking, analyzing, and communicating. It begins with communicating with the client – about goals, objectives and strategies – in order to reach a creative, clear and compelling solution.

I'm Rick Schuster and I founded THINK Graphic Design in 2006 after more than 14 years in the graphic design field. With a bachelor of arts in environmental design, and a bachelor of architecture degree, I honed my design skills for over 11 years as senior graphic designer for Metro Transit of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, the nation's 11th-largest bus system and operator of the Hiawatha Light-Rail Line.

My strong analytical skills have proven extremely effective in turning complex information into a visual format that is easily understood. My design process is anchored in strong problem-solving skills, which I partially credit to my education in architecture – and partially to that part of my brain that likes to have an answer to why something was designed a certain way (an answer other than "it just looks cool").

With the help of a network of other graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, writers and web programmers, THINK Graphic Design can tackle any project.
